Do you ever wonder, “Does giving something handmade make a difference?”

It does.

This past Saturday our amazing Welcome Blanket ON CALL partner Miry’s List was featured in “Afghan Refugees starting over in America” on CNN for the fantastic job they have been doing in welcoming our newest American neighbors from Afghanistan. As part of the feature, the journalist visited the recently arrived Jawad family.

The Jawad family joyfully shared their GORGEOUS Welcome Blanket and said, “It was handmade by someone who doesn’t even know us!”

We are honored to be able to welcome our newest neighbors.
